<p>Many people want to lose weight. The reasons they have are not only limited by health &#8211; some want to lose weight to gain confidence, other’s do it to look attractive, and, believe it or not, a few more even lose weight because of their jobs.</p>
<p>Due to the large demand of <a href="../">weight loss</a> products, countless information on diets, exercises and weight loss supplements are flooding the market. Only a handful of these products work though and it can be challenging to determine which weight loss supplement is right for you, especially with all the choices available.</p>
<p>In this post, I will share some information about the different types of weight loss supplements and how they can help you lose weight.<span id="more-370"></span></p>
<h2><strong>Common weight loss supplements:<br />
</strong></h2>
<h3><strong>1. Appetite Suppressant</strong></h3>
<p>As the name suggests, appetite suppressants are made to decrease your hunger or appetite. This supplement is good for people who constantly snack or crave unhealthy foods. Appetite suppressants can decrease your daily caloric intake because it makes you think that you’re full, thereby helping you eat less. This type of weight loss supplement can also be prescribed by a medical practitioner for clinically obese patients who need help to control their eating habits. A quality appetite suppressant can be a great component to your weight loss program.</p>
<h3><strong>2. Fat Blockers or Fat Binders</strong></h3>
<p>Fat blockers work by “attaching” themselves to the fats in the digestive system, and forming a large and complex molecular compound that can’t be absorbed by the body. Since the resulting compound can’t be absorbed, it is then released by the body as waste.</p>

<p>Carb blockers are one of the most popular weight loss supplements. Like fat binders, they work by preventing your body from absorbing certain compounds in your food. In this case, it prevents your body from absorbing carbohydrates. It won’t eliminate all the carbs as a waste though. It only lessens the amount of glucose or sugar absorbed in the bloodstream. Therefore, don&#8217;t take these with the idea of eating any and all carbs in sight.</p>

<p>Colon cleansing products flush toxins and other wastes from the body. It helps people lose weight by cleaning their digestive system and removing toxins or plaques that are clogging the colon.</p>
<p>When the digestive tract is cleaned, the body will be able to absorb more nutrients and digest food faster. Cleansing your colon also helps you lose weight by making your body feel lighter, while giving you more energy.</p>

<p>There are lots of weight loss exercises available for women, regardless of their lifestyle and schedule. When choosing your exercise, make sure it’s something that you’ll enjoy doing. Getting bored is one of the primary reasons why most women can’t stick to their weight loss exercise.  It doesn’t have to be expensive either, as there are several exercise options you can do in the comfort of your own homes.<span id="more-372"></span></p>
<h2><strong>Exercise Combinations<br />
</strong></h2>
<p>Depending on your aims, you should use a combination of cardiovascular, aerobics and strength training exercises. If you’re a beginner, it’s best to go to a gym or aerobics group, so they could teach you the right moves. It’s also more fun and exciting when you do it with a lively group.</li>
<li><strong></strong><strong>Swimming- </strong>is a perfect <a href="../">weight loss exercise</a> for those who want to trim down quickly. Swimming can help you lose as much as 800 calories in just one hour.</li>
<li><strong></strong><strong>Yoga- </strong>is another one of my favorite weight loss exercise. Yoga is calming and meditative, and it helps correct your posture too! Don’t be disheartened by the muscle pains you experience when you’re just starting out. It just means that your muscles are stretching and toning, which means your exercise is working! Yoga is perfect for those who are stressed with their day to day work, as the breathing exercises will really relieve you of your worries, to some extent.</li>

<p>So, is it possible to lose 10 inches on your tummy after 1 month of regular weight loss exercise? Not really. Weight loss exercise isn’t the only factor that affects your weight. <p>People with Celiac disease are not the only supporters of a gluten free diet. More and more people are jumping in on the bandwagon because of its ability to promote <a href="../">weight loss</a>. Even autistic kids are now given a gluten free diet by their parents.</p>
<p>Read up to find out more about gluten and how it can work wonders for your weight loss problems. Who knows, this could be the diet you’re looking for.</p>
<h2><strong>Gluten 101<br />
</strong></h2>
<p>Gluten is a protein found in rye, wheat and barley. Most cereals, bread, food dressings and pastries contain gluten. Not to worry, not everything has gluten. Corn, buckwheat and rice don’t have gluten.<span id="more-359"></span></p>

Not to mention all the sugar and salt used on them.</p>

<li>Semolina</li>
<li>Wheat</li>
<li>Graham Flour</li>
<li>Matzo Meal</li>

<li>Salad Dressings</li>
<li>Cakes</li>

<p>I could totally understand if you’re hesitant to go on a gluten free diet, especially with all the restrictions it has. Truth is a gluten free diet isn’t that restrictive. If you really think of it, it’s only restricting you to eat processed starches, veggies and meat. Fresh produce is always welcome in a gluten free diet.</p>
<h2><strong>Here are some tips to be successful in your gluten free weight loss diet:<br />
</strong></h2>
<ol>
<li>Always read the food labels. Not everything found in an organic store is gluten free. That being said, you should make it a habit to read the food labels every time you hit the grocery. I know it may sound tedious, but the benefits of it will be worth it. Aside from checking the gluten content of your food, you can also check how much nutrients it can give your body.</li>
<li>Get creative. A boring diet is not an effective diet. The key to a successful weight loss diet is creativity. You should regularly vary the food you eat. Try to put a twist on your everyday salad or main dish. This way, you won’t get bored of eating the same stuff over and over. What’s more, you’ll also train your palate to enjoy more flavours.</li>
<li>Look for restaurants that offer gluten free choices. A lot of restaurants have been serving vegetarian options for years. It’s no surprise that they’re also providing options for people with allergies and special diets. You don’t have to sacrifice or avoid eating out just because of your gluten free <a href="../">weight loss diet</a>.</li>

<p>As I write this, I’m craving for my mom’s Praline Cookies. They’re so sinful and rich with chocolate. I know they’re bad for me, but wouldn’t it be okay as long as I eat them while drinking some tea?</p>
<p>You may be laughing at me now, but I’m pretty sure you’ve had a situation like this before. A lot of people rationalize their cravings in one way or another. As for me, I rationalize by tricking myself that sweets won’t affect my <a href="../">weight loss diet</a> if they’re paired with something healthy.  I know….  It’s really far out.<span id="more-351"></span><!--more--><!--more--></p>
<h2><strong>Diet and Cravings<br />
</strong></h2>
<p>If your current diet leaves you hungry, then it’s not the right diet for you. You should switch to a diet that gives you plenty of fruits, meat and vegetables.</p>
<p>Remember, controlling your cravings won’t be possible unless your diet fuels your body with enough vitamins and nutrients.  I know even the simplest cravings can ruin a perfect diet. Whatever your craving is, don’t give in to it. Don’t let it overrun your weight loss diet.</p>
<p>In this post, I’ll share ways on how to stop your cravings and how to stick to your <a href="../our-blog/super-foods-that-can-help-your-weight-loss-diet-fast">weight loss diet</a>.</p>
<h2><strong>How to Get Over Your Cravings<br />
</strong></h2>
<h3><strong>1. Destroy the Temptation</strong></h3>
<p>If you’ve given up and succumbed to your cravings, destroy whatever it is you’re craving for. If you’re craving for some ice cream and you just bought a pint to satisfy yourself, run to the sink and throw the ice cream into it.</p>
<p>Don’t think about the money. What’s a few dollars compared to the extra pounds you’re going to gain? Besides, if the ice cream doesn’t go to the drain, it will end up on your hips. Even if you don’t eat it today, you’re most likely to eat it within the week.</p>
<h3><strong>2. When craving, take a power nap</strong></h3>
<p>Most people crave when they’re tired and stressed. In fact, the main culprit for most cravings is fatigue. So the best solution to this problem is to take a short nap. You won’t just feel energized when you wake up, you’ll also be able to avoid your cravings.</p>
<h3><strong>3. Exercise and move your butt</strong></h3>
<p>Exercising is one of the best ways to curb a food craving. Exercising releases endorphins, a feel good hormone that acts to help you feel good – without giving into any unhealthy craving.</p>
<p>If you notice that your cravings regularly occur at certain times of the week, I suggest you do your exercise during these times. This will help you lower the chances of giving into your bad eating habits.</p>
<h3><strong>4. Substitute your cravings for healthier choices</strong></h3>
<p>There are times that you really can’t get rid of your cravings, no matter what you do. In these trying times, I highly suggest finding a healthier alternative to your cravings. Check out my substitution list for some common cravings and their substitutes</p>
<ul>
<li>Ice cream- frozen yogurt</li>
<li>Potato chips- plain and salt-free popcorn</li>
<li>Beer- a glass of wine or mead</li>
<li>Burger- veggie tacos or burritos</li>
</ul>
<p>There are many more ways to help you overcome a craving. Whatever method you use, just make sure it’s not leading you to form another unhealthy habit. Your <a href="../">weight loss diet</a> is not going to work if you’re cheating on yourself.</p>

<p>People assume that going on a <a href="http://revolutionds.com/weight-loss/weight-loss-diet">weight loss die</a>t is equivalent to eating bland food. Most people associate the word diet with boring, repetitive and flavourless meals. Fortunately, this doesn’t need to be the case.</p>
<p>No one has to give up flavour because of a diet. Whatever diet you’re on, there’s a host of ingredients that can satisfy your palate. There are many recipes to suit your nutritional needs, even if you’re on a busy schedule. All you need is a proper meal plan and a few ingredient substitutions.</p>
<h2>Seasonings Peak Flavour</h2>
<p>Anyone can add flavour to a weight loss diet by adding some herbs and spices to a dish. Salt and pepper aren’t the only flavourings in the world. Onions and garlic can also do wonders for your meal. Some of my favourite herbs are tarragon, rosemary, oregano and basil. If you fancy spicy foods, try cayenne pepper, paprika, curry, cumin and other Indian spice blends. Fear not, you don’t need to master the use of these spices just to use them in your everyday cooking.<span id="more-331"></span></p>
<h2>Variety in Fruits &amp; Veggies Increase Interest</h2>
<p>Eating a variety of fruits and vegetables will prevent you from getting bored with any <a href="http://revolutionds.com/">weight loss program</a>. Remember, lettuce and broccolis aren’t the only healthy vegetables around. Try some asparagus, potatoes, leeks and even an eggplant!</p>
<p>Some people will tell you that buying fruits and veggies from your local grocery isn’t healthy. Truth is- it depends on the items you’ll get. Organic produce is the healthiest and most flavourful. They may be  a bit expensive, though.  I say, what’s important is your body gets enough fruits and veggies.</p>
<h2>To prove that diet recipes don’t need to be boring, I’ve compiled some tried and tested recipes. Here are two of my favourite recipes:</h2>
<h2>Shrimp Soup</h2>
<p><strong>Ingredients:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>2 tsps. Sesame oil</li>
<li>7 oz.  Sliced shitake mushrooms</li>
<li>3 cups sodium free chicken stock</li>
<li>3 cups water</li>
<li>1 tbsp. soy sauce</li>
<li>3 tbsp. chopped ginger</li>
<li>2 tbsp. onions</li>
<li>3 cups cabbage or bokchoy</li>
<li>2 tbsp. chopped cilantro</li>
<li>1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined</li>
<li>3 limes</li>
</ul>
<p>Heat oil in a casserole, then sauté gingers and mushrooms for about 5 minutes.</p>
<p>After the soup boils, lower the heat and add bokchoy, onions, cilantro and shrimp. Simmer on low heat for 3 minutes or until the shrimps are cooked. Add the lime juice before serving. You can also add salt and pepper to taste.</p>
<h2>Yogurt Fruit Parfait<strong><br />
</strong></h2>
<p>Ingredients:</p>
<p>2 tbsp. honey</p>
<p>2 frozen bananas</p>
<p>½ cup plain and fat free yogurt</p>
<p>1 cup fresh strawberries</p>
<p>1 cup sliced peaches or blueberries</p>
<p>Wash all the fruits. Peel the bananas and slice them into small rounds. If using peaches, halve them and slice into thin strips. Blend the honey, yogurt and bananas in a food processor.</p>
<p>Put 2 or 3 tablespoons of the banana yogurt mix on a glass. Layer the strawberries and peaches on top. Repeat the layering process until all ingredients are used.</p>
<p>As you can see, it’s not that hard to bring life into any <a href="../">weight loss diet</a>. All you need is a little creativity. When you stop thinking of your diet as a punishment, that’s when you’ll start losing weight permanently and effortlessly.</p>

<p>Happy New Year guys! Did you all write a New Year’s resolution?</p>
<p>Every year at the start, millions of people write various <a href="../">weight loss</a> goals. Most of them can’t even stick to their resolutions for a few days &#8211; Ironically some of these resolutions were just recycled from last year’s list.</p>
<p>If you’re serious in keeping your New Year’s resolution to lose weight, I recommend you take a good look at your goals and why you want to achieve them. People often skip this stage of the plan, not knowing how essential it is. Truth is, going into a weight loss diet or weight loss program without the right reasons will only lead to failure and disappointment.<span id="more-319"></span></p>
<h2><strong>Here are my tried and tested tips to help you achieve your weight loss goals:<br />
</strong></h2>
<h2><strong>1. Hash out a Plan</strong></h2>
<p><strong></strong>Going on a diet without a plan is like going into battle without a weapon.  Your plan should include all the details for your <a href="../weight-loss/weight-loss-diet">weight loss diet</a> and exercise. An experienced trainer and dietician can help you with these, but you can also do your own research if you have time. Here are some of the elements your plan should consist of:</p>
<p style="padding-left: 30px;"><strong>a)      Your reasons and motivations:</strong> Your plan should indicate why you want to lose weight. Your motivation should be deep enough to keep you going. Otherwise it would be so easy to slip back to your old routine.</p>
<p style="padding-left: 30px;"><strong>b)      What works for you: </strong>This part of the plan should list the best times for you to exercise, the type of weight loss exercise you enjoy and everything else that can help you lose weight.</p>
<p style="padding-left: 30px;"><strong>c)       </strong><strong>Deadline:</strong> Your goal should have a deadline. A deadline will remind you of what you want to achieve. It will also help you keep moving forward.</p>
<p style="padding-left: 30px;"><strong>d)      </strong><strong>Target: </strong>It’s not enough to say that you want to lose weight. Your weight loss goal should have a definite number that you can aim for. People who don’t aim to lose a specific amount of weight often lose sight of their goals.</p>
<h2><strong>2. Be Reasonable with your Goals </strong></h2>
<p><strong></strong>I know it’s easy to say that you’ll lose 30 pounds in two weeks. Unfortunately, it’s not that easy to do. Setting the bars too high will only end up in your disappointment. Instead of aiming for the stars, try something more realistic- like losing 10 pounds in 6 weeks. Remember, no one gains weight in a short amount of time, so it’s logical that no one can lose it quickly either.</p>
<h2><strong>3. Set up a Reward System</strong></h2>
<p><strong></strong>Trying to lose weight is not easy, especially after the holidays. Positive reinforcement, in the way of a reward system can be a good idea for some. If you’ve managed to exercise 3 times this week, then a small reward may be due, however, see if you can come up with a reward system that doesn&#8217;t include food that pulls you off your program.</p>
<h2><strong>4. Make Several Back-up Plans</strong></h2>
<p><strong></strong>Let’s face it; things don’t always go as planned. Don’t make excuses for not going to the gym just because it rained. Instead, prepare a Plan B and Plan C for these occasions. These plans will not only keep you from making excuses, it will also help you to keep going.</p>
<p>You see, sticking to New Year’s resolution is not as hard as it sounds. <a href="../">Losing weight</a> is easy if you have the commitment and the right plan. Don’t wait! Your friends and family will love the new and healthier you.</p>

Yes, it’s a quick and effortless solution to getting the body you’ve always wanted &#8211; but, wait, there may be problems with this panacea.</p>
<h2><strong>Different Types of Liposuction<br />

<p>There are three types of liposuction procedures available. Each procedure is based upon the amount of medicine or fluid that is injected into the patient during the procedure:</p>
